Sange de Boeuf Red or Amethyst Black snail.
This rare opaque Sange de Boeuf (ox blood red) snail is one of a very few produced from this glass. The engraved signature and number on the bottom marks S101 as an authentic MODERN FROGS cast glass original.
Spiro 102 is cast in a rich amethyst black, a nearly opaque glass that shows the amethyst color when a thin chip is viewed against a bright light.
Snails measure 1.5" tall, 3.25" width, have 8 stem holes and weigh14oz.
Signed and numbered, each snail comes with a dated certificate of authenticity.
